You will have to register online via our Parent Portal where you can check on class availability, request an enrollment and pay your bill. You can pay with a debit or credit card online or if you would prefer to pay with cash or check, you can pay at the gym.
What is a session?
A sessionspans a period of 9 weeks. Within those 9 weeks gymnasts are taught curriculum that is specific to their class (Pink Team, Red Team, Purple Team etc). We have 5 sessions throughout the year that you can sign your child up for.
What happens if my child misses a class?
Make up classesoccur if there has been a Holiday, if your child has a doctor's excuse or if class was cancelled due to inclement weather. Please contact the office staff if you'd like to schedule a make up class and we will let you know what class your child should attend.
what should my child wear to gymnastics?
Girls usually wear leotards. Athletic shorts and leggings are permitted, but tutus, tights, socks and jewelry are prohibited. Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail. Boys can wear athletic shorts and tucked in t-shirts.
how will i know what progress my child is making?
Recreational gymnasts are assessed on week 7 of their 9-week session and will be tested for these skills to see if they can progress to the next class. Competitive gymnasts are assessed during competitions and progress to the next level when they pass these skills.
how are students selected for the competitive team?
Students who have passed Silver Team will be assessed to see if they are ready for Pre-team. Here is a list of the Pre-team requirements. Beyond skills, students must have the maturity and determination to be a part of our competitive team program and are accepted by invitation only.
is there an end of the year performance?
In May we offer the fun and exciting annual recital! Your child will showcase what they have been learning all year and develop their own floor routine with their fellow classmates. Gymnasts get a brand new leotard, trophy and goody bag.
